A staple for academic enrichment and social connection in homeschooling communities around the country, Speech and Debate is a wonderful opportunity for high school students to learn and practice strong thinking and communication skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Speech: Students will practice both platform and creative speech formats while working on logical presentation, clear enunciation, connection with the audience, and delivery with style.

Debate: Students will be practicing two popular forms of high school debate—Team Policy and Public Forum. While debating, students are actually practicing small speeches, reinforcing some of the same elements as in the speech portion of class in addition to the development of more complex arguments and research needed in debate.

Note: Depending on enrollment and interest, we plan on reaching out to other homeschool centers and schedule competitive debates.

Required Material: TBD

All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
