Day & Time: Wednesday 10:15-11:25
Mentor: Jessica Anglesey
Embark on a journey as we bring each book to life. Whether we are learning from a young girl who teaches us that good triumphs over evil, a relationship between a boy and a dog and doing the right thing, or going on an adventure to California in search of gold in this funny, exciting adventure. Be prepared to dive in with hands on activities that will bring meaning, understanding, and fun to each literary work.
Students will identify and analyze elements of literature as they read Matilda, Shiloh, and By the Great Horn Spoon. These books can be found at the library, and each student will need to have their own copy of the book we are reading in class.
All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
