Get ready to journey into some fantastic stories full of adventure, bravery, survival, mystery, and thought-provoking experiences to broaden your students' literary understanding.

We will dive in with hands-on activities, fun projects, and comprehensive writings that bring meaning, understanding, and fun to each literary work. It will feel like each book we read is brought to life right in our classroom. We will develop a deeper understanding of these intelligent, silly, brave, and relatable characters, while really understanding each chapter we read. At the same time, we will have great discussions every step of the way.

In this class, I read each book aloud, and then we discuss themes and lessons that we learn from the book in whatever genre we’re reading. This class will allow students to reflect, go above and beyond in connecting with the stories through fun ways we interact, and do projects and writings. Students will identify and analyze elements of literature as they read. The books chosen can always be found at a local library or online if a student wants to follow along as I read. Obtaining the books is NOT required.

**There is always a potential for a book change in the reading curriculum; advanced notice will be given**

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
