This is a hands-on class where we explore all the facets of Biology and is a great introduction class to prepare for high school Biology.
We will do an in-depth study of Life Sciences through project-based investigations, field exercises, demonstrations, research, and coursework. The students will develop an understanding of Ecology, Cellular Biology, Genetics, Biological Diversity, Botany, Invertebrate and Vertebrate Biology, and the Human Body Systems. Inquiry-based laboratory and field exercises will help students develop critical thinking skills, perform collection and analysis of data proficiently, and understand proper laboratory procedures.
This class aims to fulfill all the lab requirements for non-a-g High School Biology.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
