Day & Time: Wednesday 12:30-1:40
Mentor: Allison Hunter
The goal of this class is to get students excited about Biology! Students will study a variety of life processes and learn how different organisms meet the challenges of living in their specific environment. We will focus on the biological principles of humans, including: chemistry of life, cell structure and function, reproduction, inheritance, and ecology. Throughout the year we’ll be studying many different areas of biology such as cells, organic chemistry, genetics, classifications, and much more.
Each class will address the various areas of Biology through hands-on experiments and activities to help students understand the living world and the ways its many species function, evolve, and interact.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
