This course is an engaging social studies curriculum with young learners in mind!
This class will encourage them to think “outside the box” and prove their thinking
through hands-on and engaging learning experiences.
We will break the year up into different units of learning to help them understand
the different topics. This class will understand and learn about rules and laws and what
is considered fair and equal. We will talk about the United States, the government, and
the importance of community helpers. We will learn to read maps and create
them. We will discuss significant countries, introduce economics, and understand goods and
services, consumers, etc. We will also discuss holidays, different cultures, American
symbols, and historical figures.
This class is full of great beginning topics to get your learners excited about
history and learning about how things work in our communities, country, and even the
world. We will work on fun projects and play fun games together; learning history
has never been so fun!!
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
