We will explore places like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Kush, Greece, Rome, India, China, etc. We will discuss these different cultures and how they have impacted today's world. We will learn how their innovations helped shape government, the arts, speaking and writing, agriculture, etc. We will discuss how the emergence of cities helped produce centers of culture and power and how humans had to adapt to a variety of different environments over time, and how that affected our growing world. We will look at significant events, turning points and how it shaped our history.
