Did you know that strength training not only makes you stronger, but benefits your heart, improves your balance, strengthens your bones, and makes you look and feel better? Students in this class will learn free weight and body weight exercises to build strength, endurance, and cardio fitness. Come prepared to break a sweat!
Along with moving our bodies we will be discussing proper nutrition. We will be discussing ways we can be mindful of our nutrition. This will be a positive experience to focus on lifelong habits of great health! Some weeks we will even make food in class so the kids can learn to prepare items and make them for their family.
Some weeks may be more fitness and some may be more focused on nutrition. We as a class will work together to make sure we are all getting everything we can out of this time together each week.
All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
