Geography is the study of land, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of the Earth. In this class we will explore the countries, cultures, and corners of the world through books, videos, and experiences to remember. There are so many places to discover and explore, so let’s do it!

Kicking off the year we will focus on the geography of the state of California for our 4th graders learning about CA state history. Throughout the progression of the school year, students will develop an understanding of physical geography that can be found throughout the World, focusing on the natural resources, landforms, and water sources. We will also explore the social and historical aspects of geography as we learn about the cultures, customs, and traditions of the many societies around the world. Fun facts, famous landmarks, historical information, important people, unique customs, music, food, and so much more will be included in our exploration of the diverse world we live in. Come explore with us!

Students will need their own copy of:

Rand McNally Junior Classroom Atlas (or similar soft cover atlas to bring to class)

You can easily find different additions of this (or similar) at Amazon from $2.99 and up.

All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
