The oceans of the world are diverse and dangerous places to live, and the animals that live there must adapt in sometimes surprising ways in order to survive. Dive in for a year of fun and learning that will get students excited about the ocean!
In this highly interactive science course, students will be learning about different aquatic biomes and the adaptations of the animals that live there. We’ll be watching documentaries, doing in-depth studies of animals’ unique physiology, and working together to raise awareness for endangered creatures around the world. This course combines hands-on projects, research assignments, cooperative fundraising, and stranger-than-fiction facts about the ocean that are sure to spark curiosity!
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
