There is nothing quite like the feeling of creating something yourself that is useful and fun. That’s what this class is all about!

Woodworking will take the basic fundamentals of using wood-working tools: hammers, drills, screw drivers, saws, etc., and use those to create a single AMAZING object that is a secret (and we can’t give it away yet)! We will learn all about how to properly use tools, tool safety, and explore all the possibilities of working with wood. The skills learned during this workshop will be invaluable for the students not only during this class, but for the rest of their lives.

ALL students must strictly adhere to the safety regulations, or they will be asked to leave the workshop in order to maintain a safe working environment.

Day 1: Review of safety rules and brief intro to woodworking and tools. We will begin our project on this day, having the students work on design and pre-construction planning.

Days 2-5: Hands-on working with wood to create a finished masterpiece!
