Who doesn't need to kick up their heels once in a while? Research shows that participating in musical theater builds self-confidence, social connections, and a sense of community. As we move our bodies, find our voices, explore our creativity, and use our imaginations together, we release stress and encourage mindfulness, playfulness, and even empathy, through self-expression.

Focusing on vocal performance and choreography for the stage, we will sing and dance our way through various musical theater styles. We will learn stage and theater lingo while improving vocal and theatrical dance skills. There will be a performance at the end of each semester. All experience levels are welcome for this upbeat, positive experience!

Kristina Rolph is a life-long performer who loves watching kids discover their self-confidence on stage! Her first choreography was for one of her own high school musicals, and she has choreographed for Take Note Troupe's productions of Annie Jr. (2020), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jr. (2019), and The Piggly Wiggly (2019). She has taught ballet, tap, jazz, and choir.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
