Our body health is physical, mental, and emotional. This class will touch on all three aspects of wellness as we learn and move together. We will work on strengthening muscles and increasing flexibility with targeted workouts, high intensity interval training (HIIT), and games designed to focus the body and the mind. We will talk about muscular anatomy and body structure, and explore how we feel as we move, incorporating deep breathing exercises, and practice resting in stillness at the end. Students are encouraged to bring their own set of hand weights to class (between 1-5 lbs each recommended).
All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
