Day & Time: Thursday 9:30-10:40
Mentor: Krista Drinkwater
Physical science is what we see and experience every day, it’s essentially how the world around us works. In this class, our scientists will learn by studying, investigating, and experiencing the world around them.
Throughout the course, we will study the fundamentals of physics and chemistry. Scientists will explore the amazing universe we live in, including motion, energy, the nature of matter, how chemicals mix and react, as well as the forces that hold the universe together. Through the use of scientific investigation, students will learn together and work with their peers often to discover how the scientific process works. Children are natural scientists, and in this class they will have the opportunity to put the curiosity and desire to explore to work.
Students will need a 100 page Spiral Notebook.
All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
