Here is the place for our young students to build a strong foundation on their journey to becoming successful readers and writers!

Each week, students will gather together to listen to one well-loved children’s book before writing one to two sentences from the story (a time-tested practice known as copy work). In this portion of the class, children will improve their penmanship, practicing the proper use of uppercase and lowercase letters, and proper spacing.

As a crucial part of each class, we have a phonics time when children will build phonemic awareness and practice phonics principles in reading and writing.

Required materials: TBD

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
