Day & Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00-12:00
Grade: Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten

This year, each class will have a theme and the activities and events will be planned around that theme. Coming from a science background, we love to do hands-on activities to learn. This is a two day a week class where each week we do science, music, art, yoga and meditation, handwriting practice, journal, PE, sports, math, literature, an act of service, Spanish, class memorizations, and games. The kids will be taken aside individually and I’ll help them with reading/letters as well. All of them are done on the level and pace that works best for the class.
We enjoy having guests come to class who like to share their talents such as baking, puppeteering, and playing the guitar. I love-love-love teaching this class and it is one of the greatest joys in my life. I pour my energy and time into the class and the students. I hope they leave my class more kind and outward thinking, with better tools to learn, and a positive "I can" attitude.
The 3 books the kids will need...
1. The Reading Lesson: Teach Your Child to Read in 20 Easy Lessons.
2. Handwriting Without Tears Letters and Numbers for Me. (Peach colored)
3. Journal. (Half the page blank for a drawing and the bottom with lines).
Children must turn 5 before December 2nd 2020 to be admitted into this class.
This class is a structured TK/Kindergarten class where we work in stations most days. Here are some questions to ask to see if your child is ready:
Can my child listen and follow instructions independently?
Is my child kind and respectful to others?
Can my child work in small and large groups?
Does my child have an attention span that can finish age appropriate projects?
All classes are full year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
