Day & Time: Tuesday 10:10-11:25
Mentor: Heather Lerwill
The United States of America has a rich history. Through interactive activities, history projects, reading and writing assignments, and dramatizations, we will learn about the cultural, economic, political, and social developments that make the United States great.
We recommend enrolling in our Geography class on Thursday as well, as these two classes work together to bring history to life.
History can be powerful: it’s about learning from our past to make a better tomorrow.
We recommend enrolling in the Friday Simulation class at our Rocklin center along with this class. Simulations are a great way to experience what is learned in class in an interactive way, bringing challenges and crises to life. In this once a month class, we will recreate historical and hypothetical events to help students engage in the subject, learn from one another, and have an educational experience they will never forget.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
