There is nothing quite like the feeling of creating something yourself that is useful and fun. That’s what his class is all about! Woodshop will explore the basic fundamentals of using wood-working tools: hammers, drills, screw drives, saws, etc. We’ll learn all about how to properly use tools, tool safety, and explore all the possibilities of working with wood. The majority of this class will be hands-on, with the students creating their functional works of art (and don’t worry, it won’t just be birdhouses!). Any students taking this course must strictly adhere to the safety regulations, or else they will be asked to leave the class in order to maintain a safe working environment.
