Each week students will expand their world by reading works of classic children’s literature. Sometimes it will be stories of ponies living on the east coast of Virginia after being shipwrecked, life on a 19th-century family farm in upstate New York, or life in an underground home for a family of field mice in the middle of a vegetable garden. Students will be reading these amazing stories, writing using these well-known authors as models, and discussing the stories we read together.

In addition to improving their reading, writing, and discussion skills, students will learn basic grammar terms and correct punctuation, improve their memories, and build their foundational knowledge base.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
