Welcome to Algebra II!
I love math, and really I want students to love math too! My goal is for students to gain a better understanding of how math affects all we do in our lives, and the skills and tools we learn in this class are applicable in any field.
Algebra II is designed to build on skills developed in an Algebra 1 and Geometry class. The goal is to deepen students’ understanding of algebraic concepts and prepare them for higher-level mathematics.
Topics covered include:
linear and quadratic functions
polynomials
rational and radical expressions
exponential and logarithmic functions
systems of equations and inequalities
Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world applications and collaborative activities. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, mathematical modeling, and the ability to communicate mathematical reasoning effectively.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
