Geared toward those who need a boost, this class will approach the FUN-damentals of math with an easygoing approach that builds confidence throughout the year. Through discussion and hands-on practice, we will build skills for math facts, fractions, decimals, percents, geometry, word problems, logic puzzles, and much more. Visualizing and verbalizing of concepts will be emphasized, rather than drills and memorization.

Short weekly homework assignments will reinforce topics already learned in class, and help students practice flexibility and creative problem-solving.

Although this course will not replace your home math curriculum, students who engage in class will learn how to make difficult problems into smaller ones they can handle, and even enjoy.

Please bring a pencil, notebook, and folder to class every day. Other materials will be provided.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
