In this hands-on clay art class, students will explore sculpting while developing their creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. Students will learn basic clay techniques such as rolling, pinching, coiling, and joining pieces using slip and score methods. Each class will encourage experimentation and self-expression as students shape their ideas into 3D artworks.
 
The goals of this class are to foster imagination and build foundational art skills in a supportive, joyful environment. Students will learn to follow multi-step directions while still having the freedom to make creative choices. This class is perfect for beginners and young artists who love to build, mold, and get their hands a little messy! All materials are included.
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
