College Support & Dual Enrollment Workshop
This class is designed to guide high school students through the college experience, particularly those participating in dual enrollment through Sierra College.
Students will have the opportunity to enroll in the same college course(s), allowing for a shared academic experience. While all coursework will be completed independently, students will collaborate by reminding each other about upcoming assignments, sharing study strategies, and offering encouragement and support. My role is to help students stay organized, monitor progress, and provide academic guidance as needed.
Planning Meeting: April 28th, 11:00 AM
During this meeting, we will discuss which Sierra College courses students are interested in taking. Course recommendations may be adjusted based on interest and enrollment goals.
Parents are encouraged to review Sierra College’s online course offerings with their students in advance and are welcome to attend the planning meeting.
Course Recommendations:
- Anthropology 9 with Archer
- Communication 5 with Matthews
- Business 266 with Karau
We will begin this class on August 18th when Sierra College begins its Fall semester.
