Exploring Our National Parks
From the Grand Canyon and Old Faithful to the Florida Keys, Yellowstone or the Redwood national parks of northern California, the United States is a treasure trove of exploration, into the vast wilderness, full of wildlife, geography, history, geology and science. So much to learn, as though it were a classroom all its own!
In this class we will be jumping, full cannonball into the wonders of our great national parks and all the many lessons they hold.
Students will have opportunities to present what they are learning in class, through creative assignments and loads of supportive encouragement in the practice of public speaking, both to solidify what we are learning and also to build self confidence.
In my classroom, whatever I am teaching, an environment of kindness, thoughtfulness and encouragement, are truly of greatest importance to me.
Learning can happen anywhere, but enjoying the process and one another is my ultimate passion for my classes.
I look forward to meeting your students and getting to know both their unique talents and challenges alike. This year is going to be such an awesome year of growth and a class I am super excited to be teaching!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or feedback along the way, I am always happy to hear from you.
