Jewelry Around the World
From the vibrant beadwork of Africa to the intricate silver designs of India, jewelry tells stories of culture, history, and identity. In this hands-on, creative class, students will explore the unique styles, materials, and meanings behind traditional jewelry from different regions across the globe. Each week, we’ll spotlight a different country or culture, learn about its jewelry-making traditions, and create our own inspired piece using a variety of techniques and materials. Students will not only build their jewelry-making skills but also gain a deeper appreciation for the art, symbolism, and beauty found around the world. No experience needed—just a love for creativity and culture!
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
