Kindergarten
In this two-morning-a-week Kindergarten class, I am so excited to pour into your amazing kids and know them well! It is my greatest goal for each of my students to know how incredibly cool they are, each one of them, in their own unique and individual ways. It is my hope that your child will come home excited to share their experiences with you and be eager to return to learn more!
My first goal will be to learn what kind of things your child gets excited about, because I love weaving these interests into our lessons. Does your little one love animals, legos, space, super heroes, or nature? We will be bringing their natural curiosity and love for learning to life, by integrating the current interests of this year's students.
Our class will have an emphasis on building thoughtfulness and friendship. We will read fun books together and explore how yummy snacks can sneak into various subjects, even math! We will enjoy nature as we learn the seasons and observe all that comes with them. Your child will learn about the individual beauty to be found in creating art and making it all their own! We will be jumping into some fun lessons about how plants grow, the metamorphosis of butterflies, the busy bees and how they make honey, and so much more!
I will likely have a living creature join us at different points throughout the year, like Banjo the bunny, Steve and Coral the parakeets, Mr. Tortoise etc. These friends (also known as my children's beloved animals that I know well) will serve to spark enthusiastic learning, as well as bring observations to life.
I strongly believe that children learn at various paces and this is something I embrace and appreciate about each of my students.

Students will need:
* 1” binder (any desired color) with "clear view" cover. (this will be used to collect our masterpieces throughout the year together).
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
