LEGO Engineering

This class introduces students to basic engineering concepts through hands-on building with LEGO. Students will design, build, and test simple structures and projects while learning how engineering principles apply in real-world situations. They will work both independently and in teams to solve building challenges and explore creative solutions.

Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will develop foundational engineering and problem-solving skills, strengthen teamwork and communication, and gain confidence in designing and testing their own creations. Students are expected to participate actively, collaborate respectfully, and persist through building challenges.

Class Activities:
Hands-on LEGO building challenges, guided engineering projects, independent design tasks, and group problem-solving activities.

Materials:
All materials will be provided.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
