Space Science! will provide the opportunity for students to explore the science of space and learn about Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and other sciences connecting it all to history and current events, math, and technology all driven by a desire to discover more about our universe.

From solar flares on our sun to the behavior of far away stars; the Artemis mission to our moon to seeking evidence of life on other moons; the discoveries of the Webb Telescope and the persistent Voyager missions and so much more, this class will be an entertaining and educational adventure driven by student questions and curiosity, and will include an abundance of fantastic stories, puzzling mysteries, and scientific and technological solutions. 
 
This class has no required homework although students will always be encouraged to research topics on their own outside of class and share their discoveries with each other. We will complete monthly in-class worksheet activities to reinforce key concepts and confirm student learning. 
 
No additional materials are required
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
