Student Leadership
This hands-on leadership class is designed to help students develop real-world leadership skills through active participation in Love of Learning (LOL) and community-focused projects. Students will learn to lead with confidence, creativity, and compassion through team-based activities, event planning, and problem-solving challenges.
Students will take on leadership roles within the class, collaborate on planning, organizing, and carrying out events, and participate in service-oriented projects that support the Love of Learning (LOL) community. The course emphasizes communication, responsibility, teamwork, and decision-making in a practical and engaging environment.
Outcomes:
Students will develop stronger communication and collaboration skills, increased confidence in leadership roles, and the ability to take initiative and responsibility within a group. They will learn how to plan, organize, and carry out events, solve problems as a team, and lead with respect and purpose in a variety of settings.

Team-based leadership and collaboration activities
Event planning and LOL/community projects

Service projects supporting the LOL community

Materials:
Materials will be provided. Additional materials may be needed for specific events or projects throughout the year.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
