Principles of Liberty 3rd–4th

Step into the story of our communities, state, and nation with Ms. Jessica! In this class, students will explore how people through history, Native peoples, immigrants, pioneers, and community leaders have worked together to shape the world we live in today. Through stories and creative projects, learners will connect the past to the present and discover how everyday choices and actions can help build a better future.

Students will examine the importance of rules, laws, and shared values, while also learning about the diverse people and cultures that make our communities strong. They will practice leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving, just like the people who make a difference today and made a difference long ago.

This class encourages curiosity, independence, and teamwork, while helping students see themselves as active citizens with the power to contribute to their communities.

Learning Highlights:

  • Engaging stories and discussion

  • Hands-on activities exploring rules, laws, and why citizenship matters

  • Opportunities to practice leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving

  • Encouragement of open-minded questions and thoughtful discussion

Join us as we travel through history and community life, building the skills to become thoughtful, responsible citizens!

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
