Young Biologists

This class introduces students to the study of life science in a fun and engaging way. Students will explore living organisms ranging from tiny insects to large mammals, including plants, fungi, fish, and more. Through stories, games, art, and hands-on activities, students will learn basic biology concepts such as habitats, characteristics of living things, and how different species are connected. Curiosity and student questions will help guide class exploration.

Outcomes:

By the end of the course, students will develop a foundational understanding of life science and the diversity of living organisms. Students will build curiosity about the natural world, learn to make simple scientific observations, and begin recognizing connections between living things. Students are expected to participate actively, ask questions, and engage respectfully in class activities.

Class Activities:
Hands-on science activities, games, creative projects, guided discussions, stories, and simple observational science tasks.

Materials:
All materials will be provided.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
