Once Upon A Classroom: Creative Writing
This class introduces students to the basics of storytelling, in a structured and supportive environment. We will focus on characters, setting, and simple story structure (beginning, middle, and end). Each class includes a gentle overview of a certain direction for the day, guided discussions, and creative activities such as drawing and writing. Students will also have opportunities to share their ideas with the group.
Outcomes:

- organize ideas into simple stories
- build confidence in expressing ideas through drawing and writing
- practice listening, sharing, and participating appropriately
- share their work in a supportive setting

- a writing notebook or journal
- pencils and erasers
- crayons or colored pencils (optional)
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
