Photography
This class introduces students to the fundamental techniques of photography, including composition, lighting, and capturing visually engaging images. Students will learn through hands-on practice and guided assignments, along with basic photo editing using Lightroom.
Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will be able to take well-composed, intentional photographs and use basic editing tools to enhance their work. All students are expected to participate actively, complete assignments thoughtfully, and build a personal portfolio of work.
Class Activities:
Hands-on photo assignments, guided shooting exercises, Lightroom editing practice, creative projects, and portfolio development.
Materials:
Students will need a phone camera or a DSLR camera. They will also need access to the Google Classroom to submit assignments and have the free Lightroom app downloaded on their device.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
