What you can expect from this class:
collecting words we love and sharing them with others
learn age-appropriate vocabulary
build words out of parts
memorize tongue twisters
stretch sentences
create poetry
make journals
 
*Students might not even know when we slip in a little grammar practice*
 
Homework includes collecting words, writing a poem or journal page, and practicing sharing writing aloud. We will be looking for examples of powerful writing all around us.
 
Required materisl:
Folder with paper (copy paper and lined paper)
Pencils (regular and colored)
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
