Have you ever read a book you just can’t put down . . . where the characters become
your friends that you think about and connect with?
 
Join us on a whimsical adventure in Giant country with Sophie in The BFG by Roald Dahl. This will be the first semester. 
 
Open your heart to differences in Wonder by R.J. Palacio.  This will be the second semester.
We will discover vocabulary, join in on discussions, express thoughts through writing prompts, and create projects. There will be homework to help students prepare for the following class and/or finish classwork. I will utilize Google Classroom which will have homework assignments and what was done in class.  Please connect with our class through this method.  The link will be sent at the beginning of the school year. 
 
Please purchase The BFG and Wonder. This class offers several homework items to show and turn in to HST's if needed.  This class will have a TA, Braden (10th grade) to assist with the learning as well.

the homework reading/worksheets done

Google Classroom checked
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
