Why We Are the Way We Are (Psychology)
With lives that are ever changing, both in the real world and online, now more than ever is it necessary for children and adults alike to learn how we as humans relate to each other. From understanding our own personalities, to family connections, to how we participate in our local communities, how we communicate and relate to each other is imperative!
Outcomes:
Throughout the course of this class, we will cover topics such as: interpersonal communication, family dynamics, civic involvement, cultural identities, and how we fit in the global community.
Class Activities:
Students can expect to participate in in-class discussions, group projects, presentations, and the occasional reading and writing assigment. The main focus will be on learning together why we are the way we are, and how we can choose to show up the way we want.
Materials:
Bring a notebook decade to this class; all other materials will be provided.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
