Get ready to expand your horizons! In this engaging and interactive course, students will explore the diverse countries, cultures, and landscapes that make up our world. Each week, we’ll dive into a different region—examining geography, landmarks, cultural traditions, global issues, and cuisine through videos, discussions, maps, hands-on projects, and occasional taste-testing.
Students will keep a detailed travel-style journal to document key facts, personal reflections, and creative responses as they “travel” the globe. This class is designed to deepen cultural awareness, develop critical thinking, and give students a stronger understanding of the world and their place in it.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
