The study of animals, the ecosystem, and the outside world are so interesting and fascinating!! This class dives right into it all and uncovers the world which we always want to know more about!
Students will study zoology through readings, fun lessons, videos, and a variety of really fun hands-on activities all at grade-level understanding. Students will study the main branches of the animal kingdom, including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects, fish, as well as many others. They will study animal habitats, behaviors, diets, appearances, adaptations and many more interesting facts.
We will do special lessons on endangered species, classifications, camouflage, as well as ecosystems and food webs. Students will complete hands-on projects, drawings, fun crafts, and a field journal to help organize all of our studies during class. We will become amazing explorers together and have fun learning all at the same time!! Your child will love this class!!
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
